Part 1 of the Program—WSQ Course—Project Management for Sustainability focuses on Managing the ESG Project by producing a Data-Driven, Performance-based Sustainability Report, considering Data Collection and ESG Stakeholder Management, and integrating sustainable practices into all facets of project management. This course provides the tools, insights, and frameworks necessary to achieve these objectives effectively.

Part 2 provides the Hands-on experiences required for Data Management for the Sustainability (ESG) Report with Case Study and SusTek Platform.

Practice Module

The Practice Module is a cornerstone of the “Managing Sustainability Projects and ESG Reporting ” course, designed to immerse participants in the practical aspects of sustainability and ESG project management.
Learners can apply the comprehensive skill set acquired from the course’s core components by undertaking a project that simulates real-world sustainability challenges. This includes strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, data management, and impact assessment tailored to a project of their choice.
The module encourages hands-on learning, allowing participants to demonstrate their understanding and proficiency in integrating sustainability and ESG principles into tangible projects.

At the end of this interactive and hands-on workshop, participants will be able to:

Define a project and explain the essential differences between ESG Projects and Strategic planning for sustainability and ESG projects.
Identify all the people who have a stake in your project - the 'ESG Stakeholders' and communication strategies for these stakeholders.
Create a detailed project management plan for a defined Case Study, especially on the ESG data collection, management, and reporting techniques.
Explain how to Execute, Monitor, control, and Close the project work, manage and motivate your team, and conduct impact assessments and sustainable project implementation.

This Course is for project managers, sustainability professionals, CSR officers, and business leaders. It is structured to benefit individuals directly responsible for implementing and overseeing sustainability and ESG-related projects.
Whether you want to initiate your organisation’s first sustainability project, enhance existing ESG strategies, or integrate sustainable practices into all facets of project management, this course provides the tools, insights, and frameworks necessary to achieve these objectives effectively.

There is no pre-requisites for PM4S training.

To successfully complete the SSG-funded Project Management for Sustainability course, you must fulfil the following requirements:

Class Attendance
- You are required to achieve at least 75% attendance for the entire duration of the course.
Active Participation
- You must actively engage in the learning activities, which are not limited to group discussions, case studies, quizzes or exercises during the course.
Assessment Criteria
- You must PASS all the required WSQ assessments.
Post-Course Evaluation & SSG – TRAQOM Survey Submission
- Your feedback helps us continuously improve our programs. Upon course completion, you will be asked to complete a Post-Course Evaluation and the SSG-TRAQOM survey.
Adherence to SSG Policies
- You must adhere to all SSG policies and maintaining professional conduct during the course.
Issuance of Certificate
- Upon meeting all the above requirements, you will receive EPM – Certificate of Completion and SSG – Statement of Attainment (SOA).

Self-sponsored:

SkillsFuture Course Fee Funding:
The revisions to course fee funding, applicable to all SSG-funded courses commencing on or after 1 Jan 2022, are as follows:

Baseline course fee subsides will be simplified and streamlined across PMET and non-PMET courses, up to 50% of course fees for certifiable courses approved by SSG.
Enterprises that qualify for SSG’s enhanced subsidy schemes (SkillsFuture Mid-career Enhanced Subsidy and Enhanced Training Support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)) will receive an enhanced subsidy of up to 20%-points above the baseline course fee subsidies.

Absentee Payroll Funding:

With effect from 1 Jan 2022, SSG will introduce a fixed Absentee Payroll (AP) rate at $4.50 per hour. We will also set a $100,000 cap on the maximum AP funding each organisation can claim each calendar year to ensure that the benefits are more evenly distributed across companies.
