ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Become Recognized as a Project Management Professional through IPMA Certification

This course has been designed to equip trainees with the essential knowledge and approaches of project management, gain insight into the project management from initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling and project closing. Trainees will work in project teams to apply three (3) competence areas with twenty-eight (28) competence elements (CEs) described in the Individual Competency Baseline Version 4 (ICB4) published by the International Project Management Association (IPMA). The three (3) competence areas include Perspective Competences (context), Practice Competences (methods, tools and techniques), and People Competences (personal and interpersonal); with the aim to successfully participate in or lead projects and to realise project success.

IPMA Certification Preparation Boot Camp (1-day)

This course focuses on IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager) and IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate) certifications.

  • Course Structure and Objectives
  • Overview of ICB4 three (3) competence areas: perspective, people and practices and twenty-eight competence elements (CEs)
  • Overview of ICB4 key competence indicators (KCIs) and measures
  • Understand the application process and exam structure for IPMA Level C and IPMA Level D
  • Practice by working through simulated exam
